Polytop Screws

Polytops screws are available in various head configurations and drives, types and sizes for different applications.

• Plastic top is moulded onto screw and cannot be removed
• Metal screw head is intact and hardwearing
• Ensure tamper resistance especially with bi-hex socket drive screws
• No unslightly corrosion on screw heads or staining
• Aesthetically pleasing, colour matching finish.

Cladding screws or Pan-headed self-tapping screws are useful for securing thicker PVCU boards as an alternative to Polytops® nails.

Socket Drive self-tapping screws are popular for signage, retail displays, public lighting and street furniture. These screws have a decorative hexagonal head (6 point) or bi-hexagonal head (12 point). The unique bi-hex head offers improved tamper resistance as a conventional hex socket cannot be used with them. A moulded washer face underneath these screws protects work surfaces from socket contact.

Both our hex and bi-hex head screws can be driven using a bi-hex socket fitted to a manual or power driver. Tools available from SEAC include the bi-hex socket, hand driver and power driver adaptor.

Pozi Drive self-tapping screws are common in many general applications. They are particularly popular for securing vehicle number plates. The matching plastic tops not only give an aesthetically pleasing fixing but also ensure no more unsightly corrosion stains
